Bittersweet offers the best in boarding, lessons, and training.

RIDING PROGRAMS
Bittersweet offers Western riding lessons, for children and adults.   Bittersweet has safe schooling horses that are used for our riding lessons.

Private lessons: $35.00 for 1 hour lesson
Semi Private (max of 3 students): $30.00
Package of 6 private lessons: $180.00
Group session (minimum of 4 students/maximum 8): $20.00
*New* Mommy & Me class (Daddy's are welcome too): $40.00
Together with a parent or guardian, Bittersweet students will learn all about horses with grooming time, feeding, and of course, riding! This is a great way to introduce young children (and maybe yourself) to the world of horses.

We also offer horses for Lease, Co-lease, and show lease.
We provide training services, horse breaking or correcting behavioral issues.

RIDING INSTRUCTOR
Jason H. has joined Bittersweet as the stable manager and riding instructor.  He is an experienced rider and teacher. He previously was the manager and instructor for special needs children at Hannah and Friends in South Bend.

HORSE RIDING CAMP
We offer a Horse riding Camp for children the ages 7 to 15 in the summer.  The camp is 4 hours a day for 1 week duration.  The riders learn basic beginner riding skills and all responsibilities of caring for a horse.  This year is our 13th year of camp and every year has been a great time, we even have riders return year after year.  It is very educational and a lot of fun!

GROUP PARTIES
Bittersweet Stables is a great place to have a birthday party, scout group, or field trip. Our parties consist of a barn tour, grooming horses, and riding. Cost is $150 for 8 riders or less. $5 for any extra riders. Party runs 1 1/2 Hours. Parties can be done any day of the week. Year round. The parties are geared to riders age 6- 13 years.
