BOARDING YOUR DOG

Bittersweet offers different boarding options for your pet, indoor/outdoor Luxury Suites, indoor/outdoor runs, and the Quiet Room.

Luxury Suites
Our suites are private rooms that include home décor´ including pictures, clock, television, radio, rug, ceiling fan, raised dishes, raised bed, and daily maid service. Our suites provide a quieter home-like atmosphere for your pet to enjoy. Playtime is included every third day.

Indoor/Outdoor Runs
The inside runs have isolation panels for your pets privacy. Your dog is provided with access to his or her own private outdoor run as well. The outdoor run is separated by fence paneling so that your pet can visually visit with other dogs. Your pet will enjoy music, heat/air- conditioning, and a soft blanket. To ensure your dogs total comfort each run is cleaned daily.
Quiet Room
These are offered for dogs under 30 pounds. They have a cushioned floor, raised food dishes, and a television. They do not have access to an outdoor run so playtime is included. They are taken outside at least 4 times daily to go potty.

RESORT EXTRAS YOUR PET WILL LOVE

Playtime is available if you wish your dog to have more exercise and specialized attention.  Ball playing, Frisbee, and "fetch" are only a few activities and may include a special toy or game with your dog. 

Group playtime- additional exercise with other 4-legged friends.

Nature Walks-  your pet will enjoy a nice leash walk around the property.  they will walk through the barns to check out the horses and walk through the open fields.

Hugs-   15 minutes of luxurious spa-like treatment.  A loving hugs and massage make your pet's day.

Treat Time-  Frosty Paws Ice Cream

Email photo-  Receive a photo via email of what your pet is up to while you are away.

Photo disc- A disc you can take home with you of your pet enjoying his/her activities while you are away.

Customized package: Not sure what your pet will like, try the customized package and we will try out a variety of services for your pet.
BOARDING YOUR  CAT

While staying with us, your cat will be provided with a special private condo.  Each condo has a window perch for viewing the peaceful countryside, the wildlife, or napping in the sun.  Our condos are wood frames with Formica interiors and spaciously measure 3 ft. wide X 4 ft. long  X 4 ft. high.
For your cat's comfort, each condo is cleaned and disinfected daily.

We provide plenty of attention for your cat during their stay to make it enjoyable.  However, additional playtime is an option providing individual attention for your cat.  It may include toys or just wandering with us in the cattery or other secure spaces.

Quiet Room $25 per day.

Cat boarding: $12.00 per day.

You are charged for the first day regardless of the time of day your pet is brought in.   Monday through Friday if you pick your pet up during the morning hours then you are not charged for that day, evening hours you will be charged for that day.  You are charged for Sunday when picking up during our 1 hour pickup in the evening.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

At Bittersweet Pet Resort, we strive to keep your pet healthy and happy.  To ensure an infection and parasite free environment for your pet, all dogs are required to have current shots for rabies, parvo-virus, distemper, and tracheo-bronchitis (bordetella).  Cats are required to have current shots for rabies and feline distemper.  We also recommend a flea and tick preventative like Frontline.

We are constantly alert for any health problems.  We believe that prevention through current shots is most important for your pet.

PICKUP AND DROP OFF

Call Bittersweet Pet Resort at 269-684-7361 for pickup or drop off service Monday through Saturday.  Maybe it is just one-way service you need for a quick-start on the weekend or your vacation.  For your convenience, give us a call.

KENNEL AND LUXURY SUITE CONTRACT

Please download our Required Kennel Contract for all pets being boarded and our Required Luxury Suite Contract for  all pets staying in the luxury suites.
